Aston Villa midfielder Amadou Onana has opened up about what life is like in the Midlands following his move from Everton.
Amadou Onana moved from Everton to Aston Villa this summer for £50 million and the Belgian has started life in England incredibly well with the former Lille ace scoring two goals in his first three games.
Villa needed a replacement for Douglas Luiz with the Brazilian midfielder moving to Juventus and the Midlands club receiving Enzo Barrenchea and English winger Samuel Iling-Junior.
Onana has made the right decision to move to Aston Villa and looks to be improving weekly for the Midlands club.

Amadou Onana on life at Aston Villa
The Belgian has been speaking to Het Laatste Nieuws about his move this summer, and how he’s already noticing how much of a step up it is from his former club.
“This is just a different style of football,” he said.“We have to be at the club at half past nine. The training starts at eleven o’clock. We train for a long time. Unai Emery is truly a tactical freak. As a result, the training sessions can sometimes take a long time, but I prefer this.
“Here we play more on ball possession. You usually stay on the ball much longer. Sean Dyche wanted to see more direct football. Long balls. Lots of second balls. We also play a bit more on ball possession with the national team, and I get the ball more. Suits me a little bit better.
“It is the fourth in the Premier League. With a top coach. With top players. It is a top club. I think I am where I should be. I made good use of the European Championships to take this step. I performed well there.”
Onana made the right decision moving to Aston Villa
HITC had reported that Everton were speaking to intermediaries about moving the Belgian on this summer for around £50 million.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona were understood to be keen on the Belgian but it was Villa who took the leap first and completed the signing of the physical midfielder.
Troy Deeney named Onana in his BBC Sport team of the week and it may well be early days but the Belgian is settling in well to his new surroundings.
