Trevor Sinclair has claimed that Steven Bergwijn has ‘all the attributes’ ahead of imminnet transfer away from Tottenham to Dutch champions Ajax, as he told talkSPORT.
That player that announced himself to the Tottenham fans when he scored the winner on debut against Manchester City showed so much early promise.
Jose Mourinho was the man in the dugout at the time, but when Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte followed suit, his struggles continued.

Despite that, Spurs have seemed to somehow still drag out £26 million for the player, but it seems as though Daniel Levy has been left unhappy by the deal Fabio Paratici has agreed to with Ajax.
Former England winger Sinclair thinks that Bergwijn just didn’t get the run of games he needed in north London, hence why he feels he struggled.
“It’s not bad business,” said Sinclair. “I think he’s a good player. He needed a run in the team. He didn’t really get that at Spurs.
“I see a player that has all the attributes you need. He’s quick and strong. Looks hungry. But he just hasn’t had a real run in the side that showcase what he’s got.
“Hopefully, he will get that with this move, it’s a decent sum and the expectancy is now there. I am sure he is now looking forward to the challenge.”

CONTE SETTING THE STANDARDS
Levy is backing Antonio Conte with the players that he wants and, most importantly, letting go of those he no longer wants.
All of that started in January when the likes of Dele Alli were allowed to leave and now he is clearing ship of those players who he thinks can’t take the club forward.
Spurs fans are back in the Champions League, as a result, and they will be hoping the following campaign results in some trophy success.
After Jose Mourinho left empty-handed, if Conte follows suit in the same manner, then Tottenham will really, really struggle to end their trophy drought with somebody else.
