The Ibrox striker continues to be asked about a potential Rangers departure.
BBC Scotland reported back in August 2018 that the French club had made a bid of £3.75m for his services, a fee that was promptly kicked out by the Ibrox side.
Rangers’ stance has been vindicated in the time since, with the 23-year-old scoring a barrel load of goals both last season and this term.
Morelos is clearly enjoying his football and his 20 goals so far in 2019/20 have inevitably led to questions about a potential January departure.
Steven Gerrard firmly rejected that idea this week in comments to BT Sport.
However, the Colombian thinks that continued good form could attract the interest of many clubs.
As quoted by Antena 2, he said: “There is much speculation about my departure, many teams that would be offering a good amount of money for me.
“I have not talked to anyone, but if God allows it I think that many clubs can come for good performances. But no, I’ve had no contact with anyone.
“The Bordeaux thing was true, but in the end no agreement was reached.”

These new comments come hot on the heels of transfer talk from the forward last week in an interview with Blu Radio, during which he referenced a chance to move to a “much better and more competitive league” in the January transfer window.
He was panned by pundits such as Kris Commons in the wake of that, with the Sky Sports man suggesting he was disrespecting supporters by continuing to discuss a move away.
The striker hasn’t been quite as strong in his interview this week, but there’s an argument to say he should be strictly focused on Rangers and brush off any future questions on a potential exit.
With big European and domestic matches on the horizon, neither he nor Rangers can afford to take their eye off the ball.
