West Bromwich Albion are currently deeply entrenched in a relegation battle.
Baggies boss Alan Pardew spoke to reporters today during his pre-match press conference, ahead of his side’s clash with Liverpool tomorrow, and highlighted a key area where his team need to improve, as quoted by the Express & Star.
West Brom are currently sitting precariously in 17th position in the Premier League table, ahead of 18th placed West Ham purely because of a superior goal difference, and these must be worrying times for the Baggies faithful.
Padrew’s arrival was supposed to coincide with an immediate upturn in form for the Black Country outfit, but that has so far failed to materialise, with the 56-year-old guiding his side to a draw and a defeat in his opening two games in charge at the Hawthorns.
The former Crystal Palace, Newcastle and West Ham manager addressed the media today, and opened up on something that he wants his side to improve upon as soon as possible, as quoted by the Express & Star:

“There’s an immediate problem of game understanding, how to get something out of a game, see it through. Our stats suggest that’s a problem we need to address.”
Tomorrow night’s game at Anfield will be far from easy for Pardew’s men, and they will have to be incredibly organised and resolute, if they are to take anything from the match.
