Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran, and his agent, has once again cast doubt on his future at Villa Park amid interest from West Ham United and Chelsea.
Unai Emery’s Aston Villa have been one of the more busier sides in the summer transfer window with the Villians confirming the signing of Everton midfielder Amadou Onana earlier this week.
As well as this, Villa have also signed Chelsea left-back Ian Maatsen and Luton Town midfielder Ross Barkley, too.
The Villains have already lost midfielder Douglas Luiz to Juventus in a player plus cash exchange but the Midlands club could also lose promising striker Jhon Duran this summer.

Duran speaks out on Villa future once again
Villa striker Jhon Duran has been heavily linked with a move away from Villa Park this summer with the Colombian striker talking up a possible move to Chelsea last month.
HITC has reported that West Ham United are looking to finalise a deal for Duran and the 20-year-old is available to leave Villa Park with head coach Emery deciding that he is not in his long-term plans.
Duran has attracted interest from a number of clubs this summer including Chelsea and Napoli, but clubs have so far balked at the £40 million price tag of the Colombian.
The Villa striker spoke to Caracol Radio, where he was quizzed on his future in the Midlands.
“I am very calm about these issues,” Duran said, “I don’t take it that way, my dad does take it differently, but it is important to be on the radar of teams like Chelsea and others and to keep working.”
Duran’s agent has also been speaking about his clients future
Despite the promise that Duran showed during that two-goal salvo during the frantic draw against Liverpool, with Emery labelling the forward as ‘special’ when he spoke to BeIN Sport, the Colombian has certainly not done enough to justify such a soap opera.
Duran’s agent, Jonathan Herrera, lifted the lid about rumoured interest from West Ham when he spoke to Spanish outlet AS (July 23rd).
“There is great interest from West Ham,” Herrera confirmed, “we have been talking to them and the club. We are going to see what happens in the rest of the market.”
