Aston Villa have already completed eight signings this summer but they are not done yet.
After navigating their PSR problems earlier this summer, Aston Villa have let loose with their spending to back Unai Emery.
A £50million deal for Amadou Onana is the headline signing for Aston Villa so far, but that could be usurped if they pull off a remarkable deal for Joao Felix.
HITC revealed that Villa are locked in talks with Atletico Madrid for Felix with Benfica’s club president revealing they are now out of the race for his signature.
Villa are yet to strengthen their striker department, and with Jhon Duran still linked to West Ham they could soon be left short in that position.

Could Aston Villa move for Romelu Lukaku?
Villa have emerged as a shock competitor for Romelu Lukaku‘s signature. The Belgian forward has struggled since his move to Chelsea and the Blues are looking to offload him.
According to BBC, Chelsea are looking for around £37million to sell Lukaku this summer.
As revealed by HITC, Chelsea are in talks with Napoli over a swap deal between Victor Osimhen and Lukaku.
Italian outlet CalcioNapoli report that Lukaku is liked by Villa with Napoli and Chelsea struggling to make progress.
The report adds that Lukaku’s agent Federico Pastorello has promised Napoli that he will “do everything” to make sure Lukaku does not join Villa, but only if Napoli accelerates progress for a deal.
Napoli have been warned that if they delay the sale of Osimhen then they run the risk of losing Lukaku to other interested parties.
