Fabrizio Romano has said on the Don Robbie YouTube channel that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp thinks that Adama Traore is perfect for the Reds.

The Daily Star reported this week that Liverpool are planning to make a £30 million bid for the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Romano has claimed that Liverpool manager Klopp thinks that the 25-year-old winger is perfect for the team.

The Sky Sport and The Guardian journalist has further reported that there are no negotiations between Wolves and Liverpool, adding that the former Premier League champions need to sell players before making any new signings.

Romano said about Traore and Liverpool on the Don Robbie YouTube channel, as transcribed by TheBootRoom: “A lot of links about him and in my opinion it’s normal as we’re talking about a fantastic player.

“For Liverpool, it is just because Klopp is a big fan of the player and he thinks he would be perfect for Liverpool.

“But at the moment I’m told there are no negotiations between Liverpool and Wolves, but Liverpool need to sell players.

“They are working to sell some players in the coming days and then they will move on some new signings.”

Would Adama Traore make Liverpool better?

Traore is a very good winger who has done well for Wolves in the Premier League.

The Spain international winger is ready to take the next step in his career.

The 25-year-old is quick, strong, very good in one-v-ones, can run at defenders and dribble.

Perhaps Traore would not be a regular starter in the Liverpool team, but with his pace and direct running, the Euro 2020 player could be a menace for opposition teams in the final 30 minutes.

The Wolves no.37 scored two goals and gave two assists in the Premier League last season, and scored four goals and gave nine assists in the league in 2019-20.
