The Liverpool midfielder has performed superbly for his club so far this season.
Reds star Adam Lallana sat down for an exclusive interview with the Liverpool Echo, and shared how there seems to be a lack of a winning mentality present amongst the current Liverpool side, and urged his teammates to learn from the manner in which Chelsea have gone about their business this season.
Lallana shares what he thought when he first moved to Liverpool
Jürgen Klopp’s men are currently in the midst of a woeful run of form, that has seen them go five league games without a win, and crash out of both domestic cup competitions.
And Lallana told the Liverpool Echo how his side need to look no further than Antonio Conte’s Chelsea for inspiration in their quest to bring some silverware to Anfield:

“You can see they have a lot of experience and that they are used to winning. They know how to win games even when not at their best. Maybe that’s an area we need to improve on. James Milner is probably the only one in our group who has that type of experience because it only comes from winning silverware like he did at Manchester City. Myself and the other players haven’t won titles or loads of cups so we need to learn from him and listen to him because that type of experience is vital.”

The 28-year-old midfielder has been one of the shining lights for Liverpool so far this season, with his stand-out performances being a driving force behind his side’s campaign thus far.
The former Southampton man has contributed with seven goals and seven assists in 22 Premier League outings for the Reds this term.

And if they have any chance of forcing their way back inside the top four, they will need Lallana to be at his very best for the remainder of the season.
