AC Milan have reportedly made the first move to sign Belgian international Charles De Ketelaere, who is also wanted by Manchester City and Tottenham this summer.
According to CalcioMercato, the Serie A title-winners have made a ‘concrete approach’ to sign the versatile attacker, with De Ketelaere enjoying a phenomenal season with Club Brugge that saw the 21-year-old bag 18 goals in all competitions.

After such an incredible year, many top clubs are now chasing De Ketelaere. As well as City and Tottenham, Newcastle United and Lazio are keen on the attacker, with Leicester City also interested in the Milan target as per CalcioMercato.
With Brugge open to a sale this summer for the right fee, De Ketelaere is set to become one of the most sought-after young players of the transfer window, and much to the dismay of Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte, Milan now look to the strong favourites to sign the Belgian youngster.
Coming off the back of their first Serie A title win in over a decade, Milan’s transfer policy in recent years of buying talented youngsters with the potential to grow has been a resounding success, and De Ketelaere could be the latest addition to this sensational turnaround for the Rossoneri.
Indeed, whilst Belgian players have dominated the Premier League in recent years, De Ketelaere could easily become a regular should he sign for Milan this summer, even though the likes of City and Tottenham can offer the youngster a higher wage package.
Milan should do all they can to beat City and Tottenham to De Ketelaere

De Ketelaere has exploded onto the scene in the past 12 months, and it’s no wonder why some of Europe’s biggest clubs are interested in signing the youngster this summer. And for Milan, they should be looking to beat City and Tottenham to the attacker’s signature.
After all, the UEFA Champions League giants have shown in recent seasons to be a perfect club for young players, and De Ketelaere could easily play regular football for Milan next year should the attacker make the move to the San Siro.
