Reports say Leicester City fully intend to hold onto Harry Maguire despite potential deals for Freiburg’s Caglar Soyuncu and Dinamo Zagreb’s Filip Benkovic.

It’s widely expected that Leicester City will complete two defensive deals before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
As reported by HITC, the Foxes are close to deals for Caglar Soyuncu and Filip Benkovic, but that does not necessarily mean that Harry Maguire will be leaving the club.
The moves for Soyuncu, 22, and Benkovic, 21, are clearly designed to consolidate the future for Leicester at centre back, with Robert Huth leaving this summer and both Wes Morgan and new signing Jonny Evans being over 30 years old.
But despite investment in the future, reports say that the present star of their defence will not be sacrificed.

The Daily Mail says that Leicester remain adamant that Maguire is not going to be sold before the transfer deadline and neither incoming move is dependant on it.
As the report states, Maguire has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United and the club is set to be frustrated in any late offer for the player.
Leicester will instead be adding talent around the England international as they look to build on last season.
