Tottenham slumped to another defeat on Sunday when they were beaten by West Ham

Tottenham are an “absolute shambles” at the back and Eric Dier needs to be dropped.
That’s the verdict of former Spurs man Jamie O’Hara, speaking after Jose Mourinho’s side’s latest defeat.
Sunday’s loss leaves Tottenham ninth in the table, nine points off the Champions League places.
O’Hara, who made 56 appearances for the club before joining Wolves, believes Dier and Davinson Sanchez are one of the league’s worst defensive pairings.

The former midfielder feels Mourinho would be better served by a pairing of Japhet Tanganga and Ben Davies.
Dier, who reportedly earns £72,215 per week, was unconvincing as goals from Michail Antonio and Jesse Lingard gave the Hammers victory.
Speaking on talkSPORT, O’Hara said: “I think we’re going to end the season trophyless again. I really do.
“Because I look at the team, the back four is just an absolute shamble at the back, and I don’t know why he keeps playing Sanchez and Dier, because it is probably one of the worst partnerships in the Premier League.

“It’s just a complete lack of confidence at the back. Tanganga plays right-back and he takes him off, puts (Matt) Doherty there.
“He’s played Sissoko right-back, he plays (Serge) Aurier, he just doesn’t know the team.
“The only player that you’d say deserves to be playing in that back four is (Sergio) Reguilon, because I really like him. He’s decent.
“In my opinion, Eric Dier needs to be dropped. He needs to be taken out of the team, and I would play Tanganga and Ben Davies at centre-half.
“And I’d play Doherty right-back and Reguilon on the left.”
Tottenham are next in action on Wednesday night when they face Wolfsberger in their Europa League round of 32 second leg, before taking on Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday.
