Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey is now open to a move to Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United in the January transfer window, according to The Telegraph.

The Telegraph have reported that Newcastle have put out ‘feelers’ to see if the former Arsenal midfielder would be willing to sign for them this month.

And, according to the report, the response has been ‘positive’ from the Wales international midfielder’s camp.

This suggests a U-turn from Ramsey.

The Daily Mail reported only last week that Ramsey has rejected Newcastle and Wolverhampton Wanderers and was interested in a move to Crystal Palace.

We covered the report here on HITC Sport.

Aaron Ramsey to Newcastle would be massive

In our view, Ramsey would be a great signing for Newcastle in the January transfer window.

The Wales international is fit now, and having been a success at Arsenal, he would be able to make an immediate impact in the Premier League.

Ramsey is a very dynamic midfielder who would help Newcastle’s attack.

The Magpies need quality and experienced players like Ramsey who would be able to hit the ground running.

Ramsey is struggling for playing time at Juventus at the moment.

The Newcastle no. 8 has made three appearances in Serie A and two in the Champions League so far this season.

So, Ramsey would be determined to get regular playing time and make the most of the chances he would get at Newcastle.
