Despite coming up at Liverpool, Conor Coady joining Everton seems a matter of time.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers defender is heavily linked with a transfer to Goodison Park this summer.
On Sunday, The Daily Mail reported – as covered by HITC Sport – that Everton hope to sign the former Liverpool academy prospect over the next week or so.

Coady, who began his career at Liverpool, is said to be keen to join the Toffees and personal terms are ‘almost agreed’, according to Romano.

Conor Coady’s Liverpool career
The 29-year-old grew up supporting those on the red half of the Merseyside divide – and still does – and was on their books until 2014.
The England international managed only one Premier League appearance for Liverpool, coming on as a substitute in an end-of-season win over Fulham on the final day of the 2012-13 campaign under Brendan Rodgers.
That summer, he joined Sheffield United on a season-long loan and signed for Huddersfield on a permanent basis a year later, officially ending his Liverpool career.
Prior to his Premier League debut for the Reds, he managed one more competitive appearance, starting a Europa League defeat by Anzhi a decade ago.
These days, he is a proven Premier League defender and Conor Coady joining Everton should represent a swift transition to life at Goodison Park, if and when it’s official.
