Bernardo Silva has raved about reported Liverpool target Kylian Mbappe in The Manchester Evening News.
Mbappe has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool, with reports claiming that the Paris Saint-Germain forward wants to join Jurgen Klopp’s side in the summer transfer window.
Duncan Castles has said on the Transfer Window Podcast that the Frenchman’s first-choice club, if he leaves, would be the Reds, as covered by HITC Sport.
Journalist Ian McGarry has previously said on the Transfer Window Podcast that Liverpool are looking into the possibility of signing Mbappe from PSG in the summer of 2021, as covered by HITC Sport.
ESPN claimed in January 2021 that the striker would be keen on a move to Liverpool this summer, while L’Equipe reported in September that Liverpool are planning to make a move for the France international in the summer of 2021.
Manchester City star Bernardo played with Mbappe at AS Monaco, and the Portugal international attacker has raved about the PSG ace after facing him in the Champions League this week.
Bernardo told The Manchester Evening News about Mbappe: “It’s tough to play against him. I have played with him and against him. It’s much better to play with him on your side. He is a great player.
“I wish him all the best, except in this round against us! I’m very happy to see he is having a great career and he is, without a doubt, one of the best players in the world.”

Could Kylian Mbappe to Liverpool happen this summer?
Well-known and well-respected journalist Guillem Balague claimed on Twitter earlier this month that Paris Saint-Germain want €180 million (£156.48 million) for Mbappe.
That is a huge amount of money, and it remains to be seen if Liverpool are open to spending that much cash on a single player.
What is clear is that Mbappe would make the Reds very potent in attack and would make Klopp’s side very fearful.
According to WhoScored, Mbappe has scored 25 goals and provided seven assists in Ligue 1 and has scored eight goals and provided three assists in the Champions League for PSG this season.
