The prospect of Liverpool signing Jude Bellingham has been a topic of discussion lately.
Last week, The Mirror reported that Bellingham would be interested in signing for Liverpool, based on seeing Jurgen Klopp extend his contract at Anfield.
That came on the back of a report from Cadena Ser in Spain which claimed that the Reds had actually already offered Borussia Dortmund around £87 million to sign him this summer, with a view to him arriving in 12 months.
It remains to be seen if the 18-year-old sensation will be on the move this summer.
However, he clearly thinks a lot of club captain Jordan Henderson.
Henderson has been the subject of a Nike-made documentary series entitled Never Done.
On Instagram, the Liverpool skipper posted a snippet of the episode and received a lot of positive feedback from fellow professionals.
Among them was – you guessed it – Bellingham, who offered a one-word response to the captain of his boyhood club.
The England international simply said ‘legend‘ in response to Henderson’s post.
Liverpool signing Jude Bellingham?
Well, that remains to be seen. But it’s definitely plausible – and possible.
That’s because Henderson won’t be going on forever, despite his best efforts.
The former Sunderland midfielder turned 32 this month and how Liverpool supporters would love to see Bellingham – a very similiar midfielder – come in to replace the influential figure.
It’ll be expensive, but Klopp will have to freshen up his midfield options eventually and it’ll cost a bomb.
However, Bellingham is absolutely worth the potential nine-figure sum it would cost.
