Tammy Abraham has responded to an Instagram post from Eddie Nketiah this afternoon, following his heroics for Arsenal.
The Arsenal hitman scored both goals as the Gunners defeated Leeds United 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
In doing so, Nketiah has fired the North Londoners to a four-point cushion over Tottenham Hotspur with three Premier League games remaining, in the battle for Champions League qualification.
After the game, the 22-year-old sent a post on Instagram, simply writing the word ‘warm’ accompanied by a photo of himself celebrating.
And Abraham, linked with a move to the Emirates this summer, responded by writing: “Keep making noise.”
The Roma marksman, who is a lifelong Gooner, is once again linked with a transfer to Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta and Edu were reportedly keen last year, only for the then-Chelsea striker to ultimately join up with Jose Mourinho in the Italian capital.
Football London reported on April 26 that Arsenal will have to pay a hefty £67 million to bring the England international to North London.
But is he interested?
Well, apparently not.
That’s because Calciomercato reported in midweek that the player has ‘no intention’ of joining Arteta’s outfit.
That being said, a spot in the Champions League next season might just sway Abraham and courtesy of Nketiah’s double, that’s a very real possibility.
