What a tragic turn of events for Arsenal hitman Gabriel Jesus.
Despite not scoring regularly, Jesus had proven himself a wonderful summer signing for the Gunners, following a £45 million departure from Manchester City.
In fact, he’s a massive reason as to why Arsenal are sitting top of the Premier League.
However, he may not kick a ball again under Mikel Arteta until March [Sky Sports] after undergoing knee surgery this week, following an injury for Brazil at the World Cup in Qatar.
It’s a massively disappointing development for the North Londoners and, of course, the player himself.

But Jesus remains in high spirits – or so it would seem.
The 25-year-old has uploaded a photograph of himself on Instagram, with that trademark smile as he holds his crutches in the air.
And Raphinha, an Arsenal target last summer prior to joining Barcelona for £55 million [Sky Sports], was among those to message him.
Jesus’s Brazil teammate wrote: “Get well soon my brother.”
According to The Telegraph, as covered by HITC Sport, Arsenal may abandon their plans to sign a winger in January to focus on sussing a replacement for Jesus.
With Eddie Nketiah failing to score from 12 Premier League outings this season, few would be optimistic in the 23-year-old succeeding his South American counterpart in Arteta’s best XI.
