Arsenal fans have been told to get ‘very exicted’ by Fabio Vieira.
The Gunners signed the Portugal Under-21 international in what is their biggest summer signing to date.
Arsenal paid around £34 million to bring the player to the Emirates Stadium in a transfer that happened out of nowhere.
Sudden signings are more excited than those where there’s speculation for weeks and months.
And his compatriot Jose Fonte claims that Arsenal supporters should be buzzing about him, saying they have signed a top talent.
He told talkSPORT: “He’s a very exciting young player who is very talented on the ball and intelligent. Arsenal fans should be very excited because he’s the sort of player that they’ll like and I’m looking forward to seeing him in the Premier League.”
Arsenal will be doing a lot more business this summer.
Really, Vieira is likely on the tip of the iceberg because there’s also strong rumours that they’ll be signing Raphinha and Gabriel Jesus this summer.
Jesus is reportedly close to joining the North Londoners, while The Athletic have reported that Arsenal have tabled a bid for the Leeds United winger, too.
Vieira is an excellent addition but there’s a lot of work for the Gunners to do if they’re going to crack the top four next season and as a result, the supporters can expect much more excitement to come.
