Well, Sander Berge is absolutely a Liverpool target.
At least, that is what a popular journalist has revealed on Saturday.
The Norway international is being linked with a transfer to Liverpool once again.
Then again, Berge, a Sheffield United midfielder, has regularly found himself on the Reds’ radar without a move to Anfield coming to fruition.
According to French publication Jeunes Footeux last week, Liverpool could ready a swoop for the £35 million-rated star in January.

And Dean Jones has told Give Me Sport that the interest is very genuine.
He said: “There’s definitely interest here and there’s been an interest for a long, long time. Liverpool have looked at this in the past but he got a pretty serious injury and that was around the time when they probably had the most interest in him.”
Sander Berge to Liverpool
This would be an excellent addition for Jurgen Klopp, particularly because the player is already on record [TV2 via HITC Sport] as saying that he’d love a switch to Merseyside.
The reason why Klopp’s side are 15 points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal is because a lack of consistency.
But it’s also because the German manager has an aging and unreliable midfield.
The ones that are always available are inconsistent and getting older, and the more influential ones, like Thiago Alcantara for instance, is prone to injury.
If Liverpool are going to qualify for the Champions League next season, adding a midfielder in January is massive and time will tell whether this Berge stuff materialises this time.
