Sven Botman is not convinced about Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United, amid interest from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, according to TMW.
TMW have reported that Newcastle have agreed a €41 million (£35 million) deal with Lille over the transfer of Botman in the summer transfer window.
AC Milan are also reported to be keen on the 22-year-old Dutch central defender who is apparently better than Liverpool and Netherlands international star Virgil van Dijk.
Newcastle have offered Botman a five-year contract, but the youngster is not convinced about a move to St. James’ Park, according to TMW.
According to 90min, Tottenham are among the clubs who have enquired about signing Botman from Lille in the summer transfer window.

La Repubblica have reported that Arsenal and Manchester United have made contact about signing Botman.
Arsenal and Tottenham have Sven Botman advantage over Newcastle
In our view, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur would be more appealing to Lille centre-back Sven Botman than Newcastle United.
Yes, Newcastle are an established club in the Premier League who have wealthy owners in PIF, but Arsenal and Tottenham are massive clubs who will play in Europe next season.
Tottenham will actually play in the Champions League and also have a world-class manager in Antonio Conte.
As for Arsenal, they will feature in the Europa League and will hope to finish in the Premier League top four as well.
