Malen was a standout performer for Dortmund last season, scoring 15 goals across all competitions while playing in every position across the attacking line.
He was called up by the Netherlands for Euro 2024 and ended the summer tournament with two goals to his name.
According to German outlet Bild, Malen is free to leave the Bundesliga side this summer if a suitable bid of around £33million (€40million) arrives.
The report adds that both Arsenal and Liverpool are said to be interested in his signature but no inquiry has been received.
Malen is certainly admired by Dortmund fans and staff alike, with the club’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl praising him for his performances last year.
Kehl said in an interview with Waz that Malen “has incredible potential” and “has gained incredible self-confidence
