Everton goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford, told the Diary Room that Tottenham’s training facilities have been ‘great’.

England have been using Tottenham’s training ground at Hotspur Way in preparation for their game against the Czech Republic at Euro 2020 today.

Previously, they had been using St George’s Park, but it seems as though they have opted to use a fresh environment to freshen the minds of the 26-man squad on board.

But Pickford, who would have been using Tottenham’s facilities for the first time, delivered this verdict.

“We have come to the Spurs training ground at the lodge,” said Pickford. “It’s a great set-up.

“The hotel, the food and the training pitch has been great.”

It’s back-to-back clean sheets for Everton and England’s number one at Euro 2020 and the £30 million player (BBC Sport) will be hoping to make it a clean sweep today.

The Three Lions have already qualified for the knockout stages, and with the news surrounding Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell having to self-isolate, it seems as though Jack Grealish might be in line to start.

On one hand, it’s a blow that England are losing Mount, because he has started the first two games, but that has seemingly opened the door for Grealish to be handed a first start of this tournament.
