Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso has struck many people inside the club with his changed personality.

People inside Tottenham Hotspur are thought to have seen a real change in Giovani Lo Celso.

That is according to Football London, who claim that Lo Celso is now seen as a ‘different person’ inside Tottenham.

Lo Celso has returned from 18 months out on loan with Villarreal and many expected him to be on the chopping block.

However, it’s suggested that Lo Celso is understood to have made an early impression on new Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou.

The Argentinian is thought to have matured in recent times, especially having become a father in 2022.

Lo Celso is now thought to be ‘more outgoing’ and ultimately seems happier around the Tottenham setup.

Having previously been ‘withdrawn’ in the Tottenham squad, Lo Celso seems to be coming out of his shell and may just save his Spurs career.

Giovani Lo Celso on the road to Tottenham turnaround

Lo Celso looked finished at Tottenham, especially with Antonio Conte at the helm.

The expectation was that Lo Celso would be flogged in order to allow new boss Ange Postecoglou to bring in his own players.

Lo Celso responded by scoring against West Ham United and impressing with his creative talents.

The Argentinian also impressed against Lion City Sailors in midweek, coming off the bench to find the net again.

The 27-year-old appears to be salvaging his Tottenham career against all odds with Postecoglou’s approach suiting him much better than Conte’s.

Postecoglou wants to play on the front foot and create chances going forward rather than the more attritional style of Conte.

That suits Lo Celso down to the ground and we have seen encouraging signs from him in pre-season.

Add in that Rodrigo Bentancur is still out injured for a while yet and there may be scope for Lo Celso to really kick on and feature prominently for Tottenham after all.
