Jacob Murphy has taken to Instagram to send Rolando Aarons a three-word message after he left Newcastle to join Huddersfield yesterday.
The Terriers signed the 25-year-old on a deal until 2023, and they have the option to extend the left-footed maestro’s contract by an extra year according to the BBC.
After Aarons posted a photo of himself in his new Huddersfield shirt, Murphy – who earns £25,000-a-week – wrote: ‘Good luck bro 👏🏽❤️’
The former Bristol City attacker leaves St James’ Park having made a total of 26 appearances since his first-team debut in 2014.
There’s no denying that Aarons quickly fell away after bursting onto the scene on Tyneside.
The Kingston-born attacker dazzled supporters with an excellent display against Crystal Palace in a 3-3 Premier League draw in 2014.

He also impressed, and scored, at the Etihad Stadium when Newcastle completed an impressive 2-0 win over Manchester City in the League Cup that same year.
Aarons was due to sign for Huddersfield in the summer and even had a medical on deadline day.
However, the move collapsed due to paperwork being submitted late.
It is, at least, pleasing to see that Huddersfield retained their interest in Aarons and have now got their man – that faith will surely make the forward feel wanted and loved.

At 25 years of age, Aarons showed far too much early promise to let his career fizzle out into obscurity.
Hopefully, by stepping down a division, the winger can get his career back on track with the Terries and fulfil much of the huge potential he displayed early on.
