If you’re a fan of Crystal Palace, you might know that the club is in talks with Blackburn over a deal for Adam Armstrong, according to Sky Sports.
Southampton and Norwich are also keen, with the Saints arguably the favourites after selling Danny Ings for £30m.
However, while Ralph Hasenhuttl has the money – and the space in his squad for Armstrong – the 24-year-old wants to join the Eagles.
Interestingly, there is another aspect to the deal which could benefit the south Londoners.

Now, this is very intriguing.
As Transfermarkt shows, Armstrong is represented by ICM Stellar Sports.
Coincidentally, ICM Stellar Sports also represent Joachim Andersen, who has just arrived at Selhurst Park from Lyon.
It might not mean much, but obviously, the Eagles have only recently been in contact with ICM Stellar Sports to arrange the Andersen deal, so that could help them in their pursuit of Armstrong.

The Eagles have already landed the Championship Young Player of the Season in Michael Olise, as well as one of the division’s outstanding defenders last term in Marc Guehi.
If Freedman can add Armstrong to those two, after his 29 goal haul for Blackburn last season, it would be an exquisite signing.
Hopefully, the Eagles can find a way to get this one over the line.
