Tottenham Hotspur talent Jude Soonsup-Bell impressed with two goals in an EFL Trophy thrashing of Colchester United on Tuesday night.

Jude Soonsup-Bell has been hailed as being ‘unstoppable’ after shining for the Tottenham Hotspur Under-21’s.

With no European action at Tottenham this season, fans may have had on eye on the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night.

Tottenham’s Under-21’s headed to Essex to take on League Two side Colchester United and came away with a huge win.

Spurs ran riot in a 5-0 victory as Jamie Donley opened the scoring in the first half.

Tottenham went goal crazy with three in seven minutes through Soonsup-Bell, Donley and Will Lankshear.

Soonsup-Bell added his second and Tottenham’s fifth, securing a huge win – and some lofty praise in the process.

Jude Soonsup-Bell making Tottenham Hotspur impact

Soonsup-Bell was a highly-regarded prospect in the Chelsea ranks and was targeted by Manchester City ahead of the January transfer window.

The forward – who qualifies to play for Thailand – decided to join Tottenham ahead of the January deadline, completing a move across London.

Soonsup-Bell has started the season on fire, hitting four goals and two assists in four Premier League 2 games.

The 19-year-old has now added two EFL Trophy goals too, with Football London’s Alasdair Gold branding him ‘unstoppable’ in the second half against Colchester.

Gold noted that Soonsup-Bell had a ‘few wayward shots’ in the first half but really turned on the style after the break.

It’s added that Soonsup-Bell may look to go out on loan in January, with League One or League Two clubs no doubt impressed with his performance on Tuesday night.

Tottenham have other exciting attacking talents like Alejo Veliz, Lanskhear and Donley but seeing a former Chelsea prospect become a star in North London would be very, very sweet.
