Manchester City are reportedly looking at signing Chelsea academy star Jude Soonsup-Bell, with the reigning Premier League champions keen to add to their growing youth ranks.
According to the Evening Standard, City are looking to poach the 18-year-old centre-forward from west London ahead of the January transfer window, though the Manchester side face competition from numerous European clubs to sign Soonsup-Bell.
Labelled by Scouted Football as ‘dynamic and powerful’, Soonsup-Bell is regarded by many as one of the most exciting teenagers in England, with the youngster a regular at youth level for the Three Lions.
With two goals and two assists in all competitions in 477 minutes of football, Soonsup-Bell could benefit with moving to a club such as City where the striker could take his game to the next level, with the Manchester giants arguably the leading development club in England in the past few years.

Indeed, Soonsup-Bell could be open to a move to City with the youngster making just one Premier League 2 appearances, with Chelsea seemingly not too sold that the teenager can make the next step at youth level, something the forward might be awarded in Manchester.
The main obstacle for City, though, will be beating European clubs to Soonsup-Bell’s signature, with some sides on the continent likely to be open to giving the striker senior minutes, something Pep Guardiola’s side will struggle to offer in the coming years.
Manchester City must move fast to sign Soonsup-Bell

With clubs lining up to sign Soonsup-Bell, the Chelsea talent is expected to leave west London in the coming weeks, and City need to ensure they’re at the front of the queue to sign the England youth international, who could be a fantastic long-term addition.
After all, City have proven they are a good club for young players to develop their game to go out on loan to EFL clubs, and for Soonsup-Bell, signing for the English champions will be an intriguing prospect for the 18-year-old, who might have already hit his ceiling at Chelsea.
