Well, Ivan Perisic might be available for Tottenham Hotspur’s visit to Arsenal after all.

Earlier this week, the Croatia international went off injured in a Nations League encounter against Denmark and, ironically, it was a collision with Spurs teammate Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg which preceded his substitution.

With Tottenham already having a number of injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s trip to Arsenal, losing someone like Perisic would’ve been a big disappointment to Antonio Conte.

However, the 33-year-old winger might just be okay.

That’s because Perisic has dropped an exciting hint on his Instagram story that he’s fine, after uploading images of himself in training with his international colleagues.

And if he’s training then that’s a massive indication that his substitution against the Danes was perhaps precautionary.

The Croats are away to Austria tonight and if Perisic – who earns £178,000 per week at Tottenham [Spotrac] – is in the squad then that’ll be a major boost for the Lilywhites ahead of facing the Gunners.

The former Inter Milan attacker joined Conte’s side on a free transfer this past summer and, despite his age, has proven himself an excellent addition.

Since joining, Perisic has managed nine appearances in all competitions under the Italian manager and set up four goals.

And in a game like Arsenal, a derby, Conte will be relying on Perisic’s ability and experience to help Spurs maintain their unbeaten streak in the Premier League this season.
