What a signing Ivan Perisic has been at Tottenham Hotspur.
Antonio Conte snapped up the former Inter Milan winger on a Bosman this past summer, upon the expiration of his contract in Italy.
And you could even argue that he has overshadowed everybody else who Spurs signed during the recent transfer window.
Despite being 33, Perisic has immediately blossomed into an important player under Conte at Tottenham, grabbing four assists in nine games across all competitions.

He isn’t quite the first name on a teamsheet that has to include the likes of Harry Kane, but he’s up there.
However, the problem with being an aging footballer is injuries and it looks like the Croatia international could be set for another spell on the sidelines.
Perisic began the campaign injured and against Denmark yesterday he was forced off.
Ironically, it was a collision with Tottenham teammate Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg which might have done the damage, although it looked perfectly harmless from the Danish midfielder.
The North Londoners are away to Arsenal next Saturday and with Ben Davies injured too, news of Perisic going off won’t have been received well by Conte, it has to be said.
Despite already facing Chelsea, the visit to Arsenal is a much bigger game for the Lilywhites and with the former Bayern Munich winger – who earns £178,000 in the Premier League – already proving himself a vital player, missing him could be very, very costly.
