16-year-old Spurs ace named as one of PL’s top prospects, displays ‘too good’ for U18’s already

Tottenham Hotspur’s Alfie Divine has been named as one of the Premier League’s top youngsters by the Guardian.

Tottenham only signed Devine this summer, as they capitalised on Wigan Athletic’s financial issues.

And it seems that the Guardian believe that the teenager has an extremely bright future with Jose Mourinho’s side now.

They rate him as one of the top prospects in the whole of England, with his performances described as ‘too good’ for Tottenham’s under-18 side already.

Devine was actually afforded some game time in Spurs’s senior squad over pre-season, and it could be that he features again before long.

Devine is a central midfielder, so he joins Oliver Skipp as a player at Tottenham with masses of potential to start in that position in the future for the senior side.

Devine already has a growing list of admirers, with Jamie Carragher a big fan of his talents, as reported previously by HITC.
