Tottenham target Daichi Kamada looks set for a move to Borussia Dortmund, as per Sport Italia.
Recently, Bild reported that Antonio Conte’s side had shortlisted the Japanese international as a potential signing.
It was also claimed by the German outlet that the £13 million-rated midfielder is ready to leave Eintracht Frankfurt.
Tottenham are in desperate need of a burst of flair and creativity in the middle of the park.
So far this season, all their chance creation stems from the front 3 of Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski.
In midfield, the likes of Pierre Emile-Hojberg and Yves Bissouma are defensive-minded players, which has led to all the creative burden shouldered by Rodrigo Bentancur.
As a result, it was never a surprise to see Spurs linked with a transfer for Kamada.
Unfortunately for the Lilywhites, it seems as if they tasted defeat in their race to sign him.
Tottenham target Daichi Kamada could be headed to Borussia Dortmund

As reported by Sport Italia and relayed by Bundesliga expert Ronan Murphy, Tottenham target Daichi Kamada looks set for a switch to Borussia Dortmund.
As is often the case with both Bayern and Dortmund, it seems as if another Bundesliga gem is set to join the latter.
With an impressive 7 goals in the division, whilst being in stellar touch last season, it is unsurprising to note that the German giants may have snapped up the 26-year-old.
Spurs cannot afford to be bogged down if he ends up joining the Bundesliga heavyweights
Ultimately, Tottenham are not guaranteed to secure Champions League football at the end of the season.
The competition for places will only get more cutthroat in the second half of the campaign and Antonio Conte and Co. are yet to fully convince on the pitch.
As a result, the club need to strengthen the creativity in the side to ensure they get top four.
Keeping that in mind, the last thing Tottenham should do is sulk if Daichi Kamada joins Borussia Dortmund and look elsewhere instead.
