Aston Villa left it late to confirm the big money signing of Scott Hogan from Brentford, with the deal announced via their website.

Hogan was missing as Villa lost 3-0 to Brentford this evening, and he will potentially be a great addition to their attack.

This was counter-balanced by the club selling Jordan Ayew to Premier League side Swansea City, who his brother Andre Ayew previously played for.
