Curtis Woodhouse has claimed on Twitter that Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford is better than Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino.
The former Sheffield United midfielder has also praised Leeds defensive midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Woodhouse has said that Bamford – who cost Leeds £7 million in transfer fee when they signed him from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2018, according to Sky Sports – is a better all-round player than Firmino – who has been on the books of Liverpool since the summer of 2015 when he joined from Hoffenheim for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £29 million.
This is not the first time that Woodhouse has made the claim about Bamford and Firmino, having said something similar a few weeks ago, as covered by HITC Sport.
Both Bamford and Firmino were in action at the weekend. While the English striker scored one goal and provided two assists in Leeds’s 3-1 win against Leicester City, Firmino provided an assist for Liverpool in their 3-1 victory over West Ham United.
According to WhoScored, Bamford has scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 20 Premier League matches for Leeds so far this season.
Firmino has scored six goals and provided four assists in 21 Premier League games for Liverpool so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
