Darwin Nunez showcased his talent on Wednesday night with a goal at Anfield as Benfica drew 3-3 with Liverpool on the night – plus, Nunez scored two disallowed efforts. He commented on his future after the match.

Nunez, 22, is likely to be the subject of a huge tug of war between Premier League clubs this summer. The Uruguay ace has been superb for Benfica, scoring 32 goals in 37 games – his 32nd coming with neat finish past Alisson.

90Min claim Tottenham, Arsenal, West Ham, Aston Villa and Newcastle are all interested in signing him. Jorge Mendes has even held talks with Nunez about replacing Harry Kane. Melissa Reddy says Liverpool are also keen.

The striker – who is rated at £100million by his manager Nelson Verissimo – has now discussed his future this summer after his goal at Anfield. He opened the door to a summer exit from the Portuguese giants.

“My future? I want to stay focused on Benfica until the end of the season, then we’ll see,” Nunez told reporters on Wednesday night, as quoted by Italian source CalcioMercato.

Nunez future: Which club is best – Liverpool? Arsenal? Spurs?

What Nunez must decide, is to remain in the Champions League but for a club that will see him get regular game time. Newcastle and Villa are already beneath the South American powerhouse, ahead of the summer.

Manchester United would be perfect and while they are not in the running for the Champions League – the size of the club is an attraction. Arsenal could still get there and desperately need a striker, with two set to go.

Tottenham still have Harry Kane. With Manchester City closing in on Erling Haaland – the England skipper is likely to stay. Liverpool could be good, but it depends on the future of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
