Mateusz Klich is one of the several jokers that Leeds United have in the pack.

And the Poland international has just proven it again with his stunning reaction to an incident involving team-mate Ben White and Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Leeds fans were furious on Saturday as Mitrovic appeared to elbow White in the face during an off-the-ball incident as Marcelo Bielsa’s side beat the Cottagers 3-0 at Elland Road.

The incident went unseen by the referee and fans of the West Yorkshire club have called on the Serbian htiman to be handed a retrospective ban by the English Football League.

Whites supporters often accuse the EFL of not acting fairly toward their club.

And Klich, a £1.5 million signing in 2017, has joked on Twitter the Leeds centre-back was to blame for the incident, saying he shouldn’t have ran into Mitrovic’s elbow.

In all seriousness, this definitely ought to result in the former Newcastle United striker picking up a suspension.

Mitrovic has form for this kind of skulduggery and going by the video evidence, it looks unlikely that it was an accident and therefore the EFL really do have to act.

That aside, Leeds hammered Scott Parker’s side to move back to the top of the Championship and with an eight-point cushion in the top two, and only seven games to go, it looks very much like Premier League football awaits Bielsa’s men.
