Sunderland boss Jack Ross had taken a close look at Kasper Przybyłko, who had been on loan at the Stadium of Light.

According to the Shields Gazette, Kacper Przybyłko has missed out on joining Sunderland.
However, Jack Ross has passed up the opportunity to land the target-man and is now looking at other targets.
Przybyłko has now gone on trial to FC Magdeburg, as he looks to find himself a new club.
Sunderland are still thought to be on the look out for a new number nine, although they need to clear the books before bringing in any more new faces.
Even if Ross doesn’t get the striker that he is wishing for, Sunderland look well placed to make a push for promotion this season.

Sunderland have gone unbeaten through their first three matches of the season, with Ross’ side in impressive form.
Sunderland are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Gillingham.
