The Nottingham Forest striker could be on his way to Blackburn Rovers in a loan-to-buy deal.

A row over sell-on clauses is holding up Ben Brereton’s transfer from Nottingham Forest to Blackburn Rovers, according to the Sun on Sunday (August 19th, page 60).
The newspaper claims Blackburn are willing to spend £6 million on Brereton, over whom they hope to reach a compromise after Forest asked for double that amount.
And the Championship rivals are said to be haggling over potential add-ons, in the event the Nottingham Forest academy product is later sold by Blackburn to a Premier League club.
The Sun reported on Friday that Blackburn had returned with an £8 million bid for Brereton, although that figure is not mentioned in the newspaper’s latest update.

Brereton only turned 19 in April, but has already made 57 senior appearances – from which he has scored or assisted 16 goals.
But the summer arrivals of Lewis Grabban, Hillal Soudani, Gil Dias and Diogo Goncalves have left the Stoke-born player with a battle on to regain his place in Aitor Karanka’s team.
Would selling Brereton be a mistake by Nottingham Forest?
