Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that West Ham United are about to complete the signing of Kurt Zouma from Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that talks between West Ham, Chelsea and Zouma are in the final stages.
The Hammers will pay their London and Premier League rivals €30 million (£25.68m) in transfer fee for the France international central defender.
Romano has added that West Ham are also about to reach an agreement with the 26-year-old.
Transfer imminent?
Romano’s tweet suggests that it is only a matter of time before Zouma becomes a West Ham player.
The SkySport and The Guardian journalist’s report is backed by claims in France this afternoon.

As relayed by GFFN, TF1 are reporting that Zouma has agreed personal terms with West Ham and will sign a five-year deal.
A medical is reportedly being organised now.
Of course, anything is possible during the transfer window until and unless a player has signed on the dotted line.
But it is now very likely that barring an unexpected turn of events, Zouma will soon become a West Ham player.
