Chelsea have a whole host of players currently on loan elsewhere, but who should be welcomed back into the fold next season?

When you look at the players Chelsea currently have out on loan, it must send a shiver down the spine of rival supporters.

The list of men currently on the Blues’ books but plying their trade elsewhere include arguably the best young goalkeeper in Europe, one of the Premier League’s most devastating strikers and a defender who has the talent to become a mainstay in the French national team for more than a decade.

And that is just for starters, because along with Thibaut Courtois, Romelu Lukaku and Kurt Zouma, Chelsea also have the likes of Lucas Piazon, Bertrand Traore, Christian Atsu, Patrick van Aanholt and Thorgen Hazard all impressing for other clubs.

With some of the old guard likely to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the current campaign, it will be interesting to see how many players Jose Mourinho buys, and how many chances he gives to his loan stars.

While at least one new, world-class striker is a necessity, Chelsea possess a number of young talents who could make it in the first-team next season and beyond.

Of all the players currently on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, Piazon has shone the brightest. But Atsu has also impressed with a string of fine performances in midfield. And we have not even mentioned Patrick Bamford or Nathaniel Chalobah yet – two young men who are surely destined for loan spells in the top flight if a stint with the Blues is deemed a little too soon.

But of all the impressive talent Chelsea cannot currently find room for, who would the fans like to see given a chance next season?

We want you to have your say below, so vote for the one player you believe deserves a shot in the first-team.
