Rangers defenders Borna Barisic and Nikola Katic may be in injury trouble.

Rangers had sent two players off with Croatia for international duty this week – but it doesn’t look like either will play for their country.
The Gers beat Hearts 3-1 at Ibrox on Sunday, giving Steven Gerrard the perfect result before heading into the international break, with a number of players heading off around the world.
Croatian pair Nikola Katic and Borna Barisic had been called up for upcoming games, with Katic in the Under-21 squad once again and Barisic with the senior setup.
However, Croatia boss Zlatko Dalic has been giving an update on the fitness of his players today, and had grim news about Barisic’s current situation.
As quoted by Total Croatia News, Dalic has confirmed that Barisic has a ‘ruptured muscle’, and conventional wisdom may just suggest that he will miss upcoming games against England and Jordan.
The left back wasn’t even on the bench for Rangers against Hearts on Sunday, with fans now worried about the summer signing from Osijek as he seemingly faces a spell on the sidelines.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, it’s got even worse for Rangers as Croatia have confirmed that defender Katic has also pulled out of the Under-21 squad, but didn’t give a reason why.
Katic hasn’t started the last three games for Rangers and was left out again on Sunday in favour of Joe Worrall, but there will now be fears that the youngster will be missing Rangers games after the break, just like compatriot Barisic.
