Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has been quoted by Sports Mole as saying that Everton target Isco is having a ‘complicated moment’.
Isco, 28, has been a star with Real Madrid since making a 2013 move from Malaga, racking up more than 300 appearances for the club.
The playmaker has bagged 51 goals and 54 assists for Real, whilst he has won two league titles and four Champions Leagues during his time with the Spanish giants.
Now though, he finds himself on the fringes of the Real side, with just six league appearances to date this season, and no minutes played in the Champions League.
Isco played 83 minutes of Sunday’s 4-1 defeat to Valencia, and boss Zidane has admitted that this is a ‘complicated moment’ for the midfielder.
Zidane noted that the problem is with him rather than Isco, and he believes that he will show that he is a ‘good player’ once he gets back into form.

“What Isco has to do is to keep working. It’s not a problem of Isco, it’s a problem of the coach,,” said Zidane. “He has to keep doing what he’s doing. I’ve insisted on that. It’s a complicated moment for him, but he has also had good moments. He’ll keep showing that he’s a good player,” he added.
Zidane’s comments come just days after The Mirror reported that Isco fancies a move to Everton in order to reunite with Carlo Ancelotti and James Rodriguez.
That would certainly be an ambitious move from the Toffees, and whilst Zidane is publicly standing by Isco, Ancelotti may still fancy his chances of luring him to Goodison Park in 2021.
