New Wolves boss Walter Zenga has stated that the club needs to be prepared to take more risks given the size of their new squad.

The flip side of the grandeur of new foreign players is the selection headache Walter Zenga is facing, with his squad all clamouring for a place in the first team.
Following on from the disappointing 1-1 draw against Burton at the weekend, Wolves are set to face Barnsley tonight at Molineux and even more changes are expected from the manager.
After five players made their full league debuts on Saturday, Zenga stated that he wouldn’t use the number of players he has as an excuse. As reported by the Express & Star, he said “We have to introduce the new players – we know it’s difficult, but not impossible.
“We have to work without looking for excuses. We arrive on August 1 and after five days the season started.

“Other clubs and coaches have had the time to prepare looking at what they have to do.”
With the likes of Nouha Dicko and Jordan Graham yet to return from injury there’s bound to be disappointment from some players in the coming weeks.
The Italian also left out three new signings from the matchday squad at the weekend, however with a 46-game season ahead of them it could wind up giving them a big advantage.
The combination of youth, experience and natural ability throughout the team should spell a successful season for the Midlands side.
