Tottenham fans won’t like the fact that Wilfried Zaha has returned just in time to face them later on today.
The quick-footed trickster has missed Crystal Palace’s last five Premier League matches but returns at a timely moment for Roy Hodgson’s side.
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho claimed that he ‘wasn’t surprised’ that Zaha has returned because ‘everybody is fit against us’.
And ahead of today’s game, the Palace speed machine has posted this four-word Instagram message that will delight his own supporters and only confirm the inevitable for the Spurs fans that he will play.
His leap in training itself to control the ball is evidence that those hamstrings are pretty fine now!
This will no doubt make Tottenham’s life that more difficult, especially for the individual who is selected to play at right-back.
Matt Doherty stated on the right for Spurs during their win over Fulham in midweek, but Mourinho also has the returning Serge Aurier and Japhet Tanganga to select if he wishes.
Spurs fans will be hoping that Zaha needs the minutes to get back into the groove of things because if he’s on it from the first minute then it’s going to be a nightmare to deal with for this previously struggling defence.
Either way, Tottenham are looking up, searching for more clean sheets and wins in their quest to secure a top-four finish.
