Celtic-owned midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu was in action against Rangers on Saturday evening, as the former West Bromwich Albion star featured against Steven Gerrard’s team in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.
Mulumbu, who joined Kilmarnock on loan from Celtic in the January transfer window, started the match at Rugby Park and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a goalless draw.
The 32-year-old midfielder played well for Kille, and he has taken to Twitter to thank his teammates after being recognised for his performance after the match.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Rugby Park on Saturday evening, hosts Kilmarnock had 50% of the possession, took three shots of which none was on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Rangers had 50% of the possession, took seven shots of which three were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
Rangers will be favourites to win the replay, and the Ibrox faithful will expect the players to put on a show.
