Kevin Campbell has said on Highbury Squad that Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri would be a good signing for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

Arsenal interest

TEAMtalk reported over the weekend that Arsenal are among the clubs who are keeping tabs on En-Nesyri this season.

Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton and Hove Albion are also scouting the 24-year-old Morocco international striker.

Kevin Campbell’s verdict

Former Arsenal striker Campbell believes that the Sevilla star would be a brilliant signing for the Gunners, and has outlined his attributes.

Campbell said on Highbury Squad: “Good player, really good. For me, he would definitely come in and carry a threat.

“I will tell you that much. He will carry a threat top end of the pitch. He has good size, speed, knows where the goal is, he is skilful.”

Would Youssef En-Nesyri make Arsenal better?

Yes, and we have no doubt about it.

En-Nesyri is 24 now.

The striker is at the right age to take the next step in his career and move to Arsenal.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is 32 now, and Alexandre Lacazette is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season.

Nesyri has scored three goals and provided one assist in five La Liga starts for Sevilla so far this season.

The Sevilla no.15 scored 18 goals in 23 La Liga starts and scored six goals in four Champions League starts last season.

However, we do not think that Sevilla will sell the striker in the January transfer window.

After all, Sevilla are playing in the Champions League this season and are also aiming to finish in the La Liga top four yet again.
