Dani Ceballos has labelled Granit Xhaka ‘the best’ on the Arsenal player’s Instagram post.
The Arsenal midfielder stated that he has been ‘hard at work in Dubai’ as he edges closer to returning to action.
Xhaka also added that he feels ‘fitter every day’, as he posted this message to his supporters.
It seems as though Xhaka has switched up his training and moved to warmer climates in order to get fit.
Given that he is now back on the grass and able to make contact with the ball proved, it probably proves that he is closer to returning than expected.
In September, he suffered a knee injury during Arsenal’s win against Spurs in the North London derby.
That was the start of Arsenal’s train beginning to steam ahead again because they have been outstanding since those first three opening day defeats.
Mikel Arteta’s side are sitting fifth in the Premier League table – three points ahead of so-called title challengers Manchester United – and only two points behind Liverpool.
But it can change within a flash during these next few weeks, especially with the games set to come in thick and fast.
After the international break, the Gunners will take on free-scoring Liverpool, before a home tie against relegation-threatened Newcastle.
That will be followed up by a trip to Old Trafford days later – if Arsenal can come out of that unbeaten, then things might just get interesting for the club.
