Bryan Gil and Sergio Reguilon have praised Tottenham Hotspur’s thriving star Rodrigo Bentancur after he left for the World Cup by netting a brace against Leeds United on Saturday.
As Antonio Conte’s side came from behind once again to win a Premier League game, Bryan Gil, who was on the bench for that 4-3 rollercoaster, told Bentancur on Instagram ‘you are from another level’.
That was the midfielder’s fifth goal in all competitions this season and yet another match-winner from the Uruguay star.
He scored a very important goal against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League, the match-winner at Bournemouth and now another winning goal.
Perhaps Antonio Conte should allow him to surge forward a lot more because he’s Luka Modric in disguise.
Nonetheless, Gil told Bentancur in the comments section of his IG post ‘you are from another level’, whilst Reguilon, who has been loaned to Athletico Madrid, dubbed the player an ‘animal’.

It’s World Cup fever time with domestic football returning on Boxing Day, and by then, the January transfer window will be upon teams.
It will be interesting to see who Spurs will buy because Conte has been sending out hints all over the shop.
A creative spark is needed in the middle of the park, but will Conte push for that type of player because it would then mean having to dethrone his reliable duo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
