Chris Sutton thinks Harry Kane dived to win his penalty following Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa.
Unai Emery’s side were cruising to a 2-0 win, before the on-field referee and VAR adjudged that Emiliano Martinez brought down Harry Kane with minutes left on the clock, but Sutton thinks the Tottenham star’s actions were ‘horrendous’, as he told 606.
The BBC Sport pundit even claimed that Kane is a ‘regular’ in being called out for simulation and he is ‘better than that’.

Villa’s number one came rushing off his line to try and claim the ball as he saw the England captain coming at him from an angle.
The issue some had with Kane’s actions is that he brought it by initiating the foul by going down before there was contact and then ensuring he got caught.
Either way, Sutton wasn’t too impressed by what he saw from the 29-year-old.
“A bumper simulation game,” said Sutton. “Harry Kane, for me, at Aston Villa. Already on the way down. Horrendous from Harry Kane.
“He is a regular on here. I am calling you out, Harry Kane. You might be the England captain. But you are better than that.”

KANE SCORES AGAIN, TOTTENHAM LOSE AGAIN
That penalty was goal number 27 for Kane from 36 games this season, as he has every chance to hit the 30 mark before the season is up.
For Kane to be hitting such numbers, for a team on the decline and that has very little creativity, is pretty incredible.
If it wasn’t for him, then Spurs would probably be sitting in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
