After scoring past his Spurs teammate Hugo Lloris to equalise in the second half, Kane had that very same chance with ten minutes left on the clock.
Would he go the same way and to Lloris’ right? Would he just boot it down the middle knowing Lloris would dive or would he go the other way?
Well, the 29-year-old did neither and instead booted his ball over Lloris’ head and into the stands. It’s a moment that will live long in the memory of Kane for the wrong reasons.
But in the comments section of his IG post, he was praised and bigged up by his teammates, including the likes of Joe Hart who called him a ‘superstar’.”

This one is going to sting, and just like Euro 2020, that pain will never ease until England pass that trophy line.
Kane did what Kane usually does and that’s perform in an outstanding manner when he is not scoring, but he started finding the back of the net during the knockout stages.
That missed penalty will be replayed in his head again and again, especially given that he will be sharing a training ground with Lloris again in a few weeks.
