Liam Morrison has been named as one of the best youngsters in the world by the Guardian, just a year after leaving Celtic.

Morrison decided to depart Parkhead for Bayern Munich, and it has not taken him long to earn accolades.

In fairness to Celtic the sale of Morrison was not out of choice.

The central defender was poached by Bayern, after they recognised his talents, with Celtic simply powerless to resist.

But it will sting for Bhoys fans to see Morrison’s name feature among the best youngsters in the world.

If Morrison does go on to fulfil his potential in Germany, Celtic supporters will always been asking what might have been if he stayed.

And it seems that he is making fine progress in Munich, as his talents continue to earn him plaudits.

  1. Kieran Tierney

    £25 million (Arsenal)

  2. Moussa Dembele

    £19.7 million (Lyon)

  3. Victor Wanyama

  4. Virgil van Dijk
